Timothy J Hipp

Winston Salem, NC

Sam was a dear friend who would have walked through fire to help anyone who needed it. I cannot tell you what he meant to me. My heart goes out to the family and know that I really loved Sam. One of the best soldiers I ever served with.

Robyn Fockler

Mechanicsburg, PA

I had the pleasure of meeting Sam through my husband, Don, as they served our country together. I can say he was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. We had a blast together and I will cherish that time as a wonderful memory. I was then so lucky when Sam and Ida came to PA to visit and was again blessed with meeting them and seeing the love they had for each other. I am so sorry to hear of Sam's passing and continue to keep Ida and the boys in my prayers. RIP Sam, you were one in a million and will be truly missed!

Kevin Parker

Mt Pleasant, MI

Sam always had a smile on his face and was always talking great things about his family. He was a friend and not a coworker, someone that I felt comfortable with discussing just about anything. Tari and I are praying for you Ida, the boys, and the grandkids as you deal with this terrible tragedy. But be rest assured Sam is watching over all of you and will protect you and be with you every step of the way. He has passed from the physical world only to the spiritual world, he is not gone! He will always be here helping you every day. God bless all of you and your entire family.

Jim MacKay

Pittsburgh, PA

I was stationed with Sam in Schweinfurt, Germany. He was absolutely one of my favorite people to be around. Sam had a wonderful smile, awesome sense of humor and loved to laugh. Even though we worked hard, we also had a lot of fun. I was so looking forward to seeing Sam again after several of us Army buddies had recently reconnected. My condolences to all his family and friends, my heart aches for you all!

I will always remember Sam as a man who had great team spirit, always striving to keep us all safe at the company. Working with him was always on a positive and joy-filled spirit. I will definitely pray for Sam's soul, and my prayers are and will be for all his family.
I am grateful to God for having been blessed to know and work with Sam. He is a great reminder to us all of how life finds its true meaning in God.
God bless you all,

Thomas Griffiths

Fort Saskatchewan, Canada, TX

To the Arredondo family. I have only worked with Sam for the last 4 months but i have come to know him as a friend and mentor,a stand up guy in every way. His good humor and kindness should be admired and emulated by us all.I feel proud and privileged to have known him. He spoke proudly and often of his family.
There are no words to make this most difficult time any easier, but please know this, your loss is also felt many, many miles from where you are today. Sam also made a lasting impression here in Canada.
God Bless you all.
