Memorial Services for Kody Wade Ruland, 50, an Amarillo resident will be celebrated Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Chapel Reverend Kevin Bushart, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Ruland passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 in Amarillo.

Kody Wade Ruland was born May 10, 1967 in Hereford, Texas to Kenneth Ray and Karren Irene Morrow Ruland. He attended Hereford schools and was a 1986 graduate of Hereford High School. Kody was an ATV mechanic and part of West Texas Xtreme Racing Circuit. He was also an avid pool player, which led him to go to National Pool Tournament two times. He will be forever be missed by his loved ones.

Mourning his passing are his wife Briss Ralston of the home; 3 daughters, Randie Jobe and husband Chance, Georgia Patterson and husband Justen Mears, and Krista Jones all of Amarillo; one son, Michael Ralston of Amarillo; one brother, Klint Ruland of Hereford; two nieces; and three grandchildren.

Preceding in death are his parents; one grandson, Ryder Lane Mears.

The family suggests Memorials in Mr. Rulandís name be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
