Funeral Services Juan Carlos Martinez will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Victory Family Church, with Pastor Lorenzo Martinez, pastor, officiating. Cremation services are under the personal supervision of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Martinez passed away Saturday, September 01, 2018 in Deaf Smith County. Mr. Martinez will be available for viewing at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Juan Carlos Martinez was born October 16, 1957 in Mexico to Cruz and Dora Martinez. He attended School in Mission graduating from Mission High School. He met and fell in Love with Araceli Escobedo, they later married in May of 1985 in Edinburg, Texas. Juan and Araceli moved to Hereford in 1994 from Mission. He started working for Barrett and Crowfoot Feed Yard and worked there until his death.

Juan was a good man, husband, father, son and brother. He worked hard and loved his family.

Mourning his passing, are his wife of 33 years, Araceli Martinez, of Hereford, 3 sons, Jacob Martinez, and Juan Carlos Martinez, Jr both of Hereford, and Jereme Lee Escobedo of Tennessee Colony, Texas, his father Cruz Martinez of Mercedes, Texas, four sisters, Nere, Rose, Blanca, and Dora all of Mexico, three brothers, Daniel of Mission, Texas and Carlos Cesar, and Juan Rudolfo both of Dallas. Special Aunts that helped raise him, Soccoro, Lupe, Irma and Loy all of Mexico and one uncle Donicio of Mexico.
