Graveside Services for Seletta Gholson, 92, a life-long resident of Hereford will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at West Park Cemetery and Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. at The Lamar Room at Kings Manor Methodist Retirement System with Reverend James Peach, a retired Baptist Minister, officiating. Services are under the personal supervision of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs. Gholson went to her heavenly home Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Hereford.

Flora Seletta Robinson was born on May 8, 1925 to Flora and Ervin Robinson, Sr. Seletta was a secretary at the Hereford Prisoner of War Camp, a homemaker, volunteer at school functions, and helped with Campfire. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church. Seletta delighted in playing duplicate bridge. She was an A.C.B.L. member and teacher. She attained the title of Life Master, and taught bridge, and played regularly in Amarillo, Canyon, and Clovis, NM. Seletta was an avid duplicate bridge tournament player.

She spent over ten years of her life at King’s Manor, first in a cottage, then in the Manor, and at Westgate. She never met anyone who remained a stranger for very long.

She is survived by three daughters: Barbara Harrison of Oklahoma, Virginia (Ginger) Reeves of Louisiana, and Deborah (Debbie) of Virginia; four grandchildren, Rachel and Albert Harrison, Chad Reeves, and Dale Wiggins; and six great-grandchildren: Daxton, Gavin, Corbin, and Dehlia Harrison, and Ruby and Larry Reeves.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. D. (Dick) Gholson; her mother, Flora Robinson; her father, James Ervin Robinson, Sr.; two brothers, John Garland Robinson and James Ervin Robinson, Jr.; her sister, Eva Pearl Spurgeon; and grandson, Stephen Peyton Wiggins.
