Mass of Christian Burial for Beverly Jesko, 86, a long time Hereford resident will be celebrated Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father John Valdez, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs. Jesko passed away, Friday, May 04, 2018 in Amarillo.

Beverly J. Jesko was born August 6, 1931 in Arriba, Colorado to Albert and Cora (Prewitt) Thomas. Her family moved to Hereford in 1947 where she graduated High School. She met and fell in love with James Jesko and they married on July 13, 1948 in Hereford where they raised seven children. Mrs. Jesko was an active member at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was also active in American Legion. Beverly volunteered at Veterans Administration Hospital and was a Gold Star Mother.

Mourning her loss are five daughters, Deborah Bullard of Hereford, Karen Reinart and husband Dale of Yukon, TX., Rebecca Smith and husband Dr. Leonard, Bernadette Wright and husband Gary, and Jennifer Scully and husband William all of Amarillo; one sister, Doris Rahm and husband Joe of Sun City, CA.; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; six siblings; two sons, Stephen Jesko and James Robert Jesko; and one great-grandson, Nolan.
